It’s a sacred principle for them that editors are given total editorial autonomy, with the brutally clear understanding that they are dismissed if they produce poor papers.”
Regulatory Scrutiny
With British politics seemingly sliding to the conservative side, there are predictable apprehensions about uniting the Mail and Telegraph at a juncture when both have been boosting coverage of a right-wing political movement.
